Senior Grant Accountant

About the role

The Senior Grant Accountant provides financial support for grants and contracts, ensuring compliance with donor guidelines and internal policies. Working closely with field offices and the Support Office, the role contributes to the effective financial design and management of projects that advance World Vision’s mission.

Key responsibilities

• Deliver financial reporting and compliance outcomes, acting as a trusted advisor across the organization.
• Develop and maintain budgets and donor guidelines to support acquisition processes.
• Provide financial modelling and analysis for commercial contracts and opportunities.
• Identify financial risks during proposal development and recommend mitigations.
• Support field offices with project financial management, including foreign currency, cash flow, and donor‑specific requirements.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance.
• 4‑6 years of finance and accounting experience, preferably in an international NGO or similar environment.
• Experience managing institutional donor contracts and compliance.
• Strong analytical, problem‑solving, and organizational skills.

Required skills

• Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel.
• Experience with Power BI.
• Knowledge of PowerPivot.
• Familiarity with MS Dynamics.
• Experience using Power Query.
