Senior Executive, Financial Controller

About the role

We are seeking a highly motivated Finance Controller to oversee the Q‑Commerce portfolio across APAC, Europe and Turkey. Based in the Philippines, you will join the Regional Finance Insights team and work closely with stakeholders to support financial planning, budgeting, reporting, analysis and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Partner with local and regional stakeholders across APAC, Europe, and Turkey to ensure accurate and timely month‑end close for the Q‑Commerce portfolio.
• Develop and maintain tools and financial models to support month‑end close, forecasts and annual budgets.
• Perform detailed variance analysis to explain financial performance and key business drivers.
• Prepare management reporting decks that provide insights for strategic decision‑making.
• Drive process optimisation and standardisation, implementing new accounting processes and guidelines.
• Monitor KPIs and financial metrics to assess performance and financial impact.
• Collaborate with FP&A and Business Insights teams to deliver value‑added analysis.
• Support ad‑hoc projects and system implementations focused on automation and streamlining.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics or a related field.
• 5‑6 years of experience in accounting, auditing or finance, preferably with Big 4 audit experience.
• Strong analytical abilities and excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Proven track record of driving organisational change through stakeholder management.
• Detail‑oriented problem‑solver who thrives under pressure.
