Senior DevOps Engineer – Platform/AWS

About the role

The Senior DevOps Engineer will design, implement and manage scalable, secure and reliable cloud infrastructure on AWS. Leveraging AI‑assisted development tools, the role ensures rapid, high‑quality delivery while collaborating closely with software, QA and project teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, build and operate AWS‑based infrastructure using Terraform or AWS CDK.
• Own technical design decisions, produce Architecture Decision Records and present trade‑offs.
• Utilise AI‑assisted coding tools (e.g., Kiro, Copilot) to accelerate development, code review and troubleshooting.
• Implement and maintain CI/CD pipelines to enable fast, reliable releases.
• Set up observability and monitoring, respond to performance incidents.
• Enforce security best practices and protect cloud assets.
• Follow TP ICAP Cloud standards, contribute to agile ceremonies and maintain comprehensive documentation.
• Author AI agent steering files and validate AI‑generated code against standard quality gates.

Required profile

• 7+ years of hands‑on DevOps/Platform Engineering experience, with at least 2 years focused on AWS.
• Proven senior‑level experience, preferably in the finance sector.
• Strong understanding of AWS services and Infrastructure as Code.
• Experience with Terraform or AWS CDK and Python for automation.
• Familiarity with CI/CD tools and agile delivery practices.
