Senior DevOps Engineer

About the role

TP ICAP is embarking on a three‑year global modernization program to accelerate product delivery and improve operational resilience. The Senior DevOps Engineer will lead the design and implementation of automated CI/CD pipelines, tooling, and observability across the company’s platforms, working closely with development and testing teams worldwide.

Key responsibilities

• Design and execute a DevOps modernization strategy, incorporating industry‑best practices and cloud technologies.
• Engineer internal tooling to fully automate software development, testing, and production delivery pipelines.
• Reduce manual release effort by implementing end‑to‑end CI/CD workflows with integrated testing.
• Improve production stability through process enhancements and observability tools such as Grafana and Prometheus.
• Support application teams in adopting consistent tools and practices for agile, incremental delivery on cloud and on‑premise environments.
• Collaborate with vendors to accelerate adoption of new tools and drive company‑wide best‑in‑class practices.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science or related field.
• 5‑10 years of hands‑on DevOps experience in financial or technology organisations.
• Proven track record leading large‑scale DevOps transformation and delivering measurable productivity gains.

Required skills

• Deep expertise with AWS (or Azure/GCP) cloud services.
• Extensive experience with CI/CD tools such as GitLab, Jenkins, SonarQube, Nexus.
• Containerisation and orchestration using Docker and Kubernetes.
• Scripting/programming in Python, Go, PowerShell, Bash or Groovy.
• Knowledge of observability platforms like Grafana, Prometheus, CloudWatch.
• Familiarity with infrastructure as code and pipelines‑as‑code concepts.
