Senior DevOps Engineer (GCP)

About the role

We are looking for a highly skilled Senior DevOps Engineer with deep expertise in Google Cloud Platform (GCP) to join our engineering team. You will design, implement, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure and CI/CD pipelines, focusing on automation, security, and performance.

Key responsibilities

• Design and manage secure, highly‑available infrastructure on GCP, using Terraform or Deployment Manager.
• Build and optimise CI/CD pipelines with Cloud Build, GitHub Actions or Jenkins.
• Implement observability through Cloud Monitoring, Cloud Logging and Error Reporting.
• Automate operational tasks with Python and ensure compliance with IAM, VPC Service Controls and Cloud Armor.
• Lead incident response, perform root‑cause analysis and mentor junior engineers.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineering or related field.
• 5+ years of experience in DevOps or Site Reliability Engineering.
• Proven experience with GCP services such as Compute Engine, GKE, Cloud Functions, Cloud Storage and Pub/Sub.
• Strong scripting skills in Python, Bash or PowerShell and infrastructure‑as‑code expertise.
