Senior Cyber Security Engineer

About the role

The Senior Cyber Security Engineer will join TP ICAP's global Information Security team, driving the development of cyber security capabilities across the organisation. The role focuses on vulnerability management, access control, security platform engineering and detection‑response activities while collaborating with offensive security teams.

Key responsibilities

• Design, implement and maintain security platforms and related projects.
• Identify, assess and remediate vulnerabilities across the environment.
• Manage privileged access and ensure tooling effectiveness.
• Provide security metrics, review architecture briefs and embed security into system and cloud designs.
• Remediate penetration‑test findings and define controls for AWS cloud environments.
• Stay current on cloud security best practices, emerging technologies and threat‑actor tactics.

Required profile

• Proven experience implementing vulnerability management, SIEM, PAM, IDS/IPS, EDR, DLP, CNAPP and AV platforms.
• Strong knowledge of Windows and Linux operating systems, networking, Active Directory and web applications.
• Proficiency in at least one scripting or programming language (Python, PowerShell, Bash or Go).
• Hands‑on experience with cloud security controls and AWS security services (IAM, GuardDuty, SCPs, KMS).
• Degree‑level education or equivalent certifications such as OSCP, CEH or SANS.
