Senior Cyber Security Consultant

About the role

We are looking for an experienced Cyber Security Consultant to join a fast‑growing professional services team in the Philippines. As a senior consultant you will lead high‑impact client engagements, advise C‑suite stakeholders and drive strategic security transformations.

Key responsibilities

• Lead end‑to‑end cybersecurity maturity assessments using frameworks such as NIST CSF, NIST 800‑53, ISO/IEC 27001, ISA 62443 and CIS Controls.
• Act as a trusted advisor on cloud security, zero‑trust, threat management, incident preparedness and regulatory compliance.
• Evaluate third‑party and service‑provider risks in the context of cybersecurity.
• Conduct interviews, workshops and document reviews to assess current practices.
• Develop data‑driven insights, recommendations and strategic roadmaps aligned with client risk appetite.
• Collaborate with client leadership to embed cyber‑risk considerations into business decisions.
• Support business development through proposal writing and client presentations.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Cybersecurity, Information Systems or a related field.
• 4‑6+ years of experience in cybersecurity consulting, enterprise security or risk‑management leadership.
• Strong knowledge of GRC, cloud security, zero‑trust, IAM, data protection, privacy and incident response.
• Familiarity with regulatory frameworks such as NIS2, DORA, CRA and GDPR.
• Professional certifications (CISSP, CISM, CRISC, ISO 27001 Lead Implementer/Auditor) preferred.
• Experience across multiple industries (finance, healthcare, telecom, energy).
• Willingness to work a mid‑shift schedule and a hybrid model (20 onsite days per quarter).
