Senior Consultant – Security Incident Response

About the role

Infosys is seeking a Senior Consultant to join its security operations team in Manila. You will play a pivotal role in monitoring, investigating, and responding to security incidents for enterprise clients, ensuring rapid containment and remediation.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor security alerts using SIEM platforms such as ELK and other industry‑standard tools.
• Perform triage, classification, and investigation of alerts, logging evidence and escalating true positives.
• Coordinate with end‑users, infrastructure, network, and application teams to resolve incidents and restore services.
• Provide containment, eradication, and remediation recommendations to resolver groups and follow incidents through to closure.
• Develop and update standard operating procedures, work instructions, and templates for new incident categories.
• Collaborate with SOC L2 and other stakeholders to ensure effective threat escalation and knowledge sharing.

Required profile

• Proven experience in security incident monitoring and response.
• Strong analytical skills to investigate alerts and collect forensic evidence.
• Ability to work with cross‑functional teams and communicate technical findings clearly.
