Senior Automation Test Engineer

About the role

The Senior Automation Test Engineer will design, develop, and maintain advanced automation frameworks that boost test coverage and efficiency. Working closely with development and QA teams, the engineer will integrate automated tests into CI/CD pipelines to ensure continuous validation of application functionality and stability.

Key responsibilities

• Design, develop, and maintain scalable automation frameworks using tools such as TOSCA, Selenium, Appium, or Playwright.
• Write, optimize, and maintain complex automation scripts in Java, Python, or JavaScript.
• Integrate automated test execution within CI/CD pipelines to provide continuous feedback on code changes.
• Create and execute automated test cases for functional, regression, and performance testing across web, mobile, API, and cloud‑based applications.
• Troubleshoot and debug automation script failures, resolving complex issues efficiently.
• Document automation strategies, frameworks, and test execution results for traceability.
• Mentor junior automation engineers by reviewing scripts and sharing best practices.

Required profile

• 3‑5 years of experience in test automation.
• Proven ability to work independently while applying best practices to enhance test coverage.
• Experience mentoring junior engineers and collaborating with cross‑functional teams.
