About the role
Join PwC Philippines as a Senior Associate Lawyer within the Internal Legal Office. You will work closely with the Office of the General Counsel to provide practical legal advice, manage risks, and support the firm’s compliance and business operations.
Key responsibilities
- Advise internal stakeholders on corporate, commercial, regulatory, labor, data privacy, IP and risk management matters.
- Draft, review, negotiate and monitor contracts, NDAs, board and corporate documents, legal memoranda and regulatory submissions.
- Identify material legal and business risks and recommend safeguards.
- Support compliance with applicable laws, regulations and PwC network policies.
- Conduct legal research and provide recommendations on complex issues.
- Assist in managing disputes, claims, investigations and regulatory inquiries, coordinating with external counsel as needed.
- Review legal risks related to client engagements, vendor arrangements and strategic initiatives.
- Support corporate governance activities, including board resolutions and legal record maintenance.
- Monitor legal and regulatory developments and advise on business impacts.
- Deliver guidance and training on legal, compliance and ethical matters and collaborate with cross‑functional teams.
Required profile
- Philippine lawyer, eligible to practice law.
- Bachelor’s degree in accountancy, business, legal management or related field (preferred).
- Open to fresh bar passers; relevant experience in law firm, professional services or corporate legal environment is an advantage.
- Experience in contract review, corporate governance, compliance, litigation, labor disputes, data privacy or regulatory matters is a plus.
- Strong legal research, drafting, analytical and communication abilities.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and work collaboratively with cross‑functional teams.
Required skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft 365.
- Experience with legal research platforms and approved legal‑technology tools.
