Senior Associate Accountant – Accounts Receivable

About the role

The Senior Associate Accountant will support Surbana Jurong’s finance function with a focus on accounts‑receivable billing and debtor management. Working closely with the Finance Team Lead, you will ensure accurate invoicing, timely collections, and continuous process improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Generate and issue all accounts‑receivable documentation, including invoices and credit notes.
• Raise invoices and credit notes in Epicor/SAP, ensuring client and project data align with SharePoint requests.
• Respond to A/R inquiries, resolve invoicing issues, and provide clarification on credit notes.
• Interpret client contracts to prepare accurate and timely invoices.
• Review invoices, credit notes, and client statements before posting or distribution.
• Meet SLA processing timeframes and escalate potential deadline pressures.
• Suggest updates to AR process documentation when needed.
• Carry out billing, collection, and reporting activities within set deadlines.
• Identify and propose process‑improvement ideas.

Required profile

• Proven experience in accounts‑receivable, invoicing, and credit‑note processing.
• Strong understanding of client contracts and billing cycles.
• Ability to work under tight deadlines and manage multiple priorities.
• Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Epicor or SAP ERP systems.
• Familiarity with SharePoint for managing client and project data.
