Senior Analyst – ATR (Spanish)

About the role

Maersk is seeking a Senior Analyst to support its ATR function with a focus on Spanish‑language requirements. The role involves daily accounting activities, financial close processes, and collaboration with international teams to ensure accurate reporting and compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Execute day‑to‑day accounting tasks and deliver timely financial book close.
• Coordinate with country and cross‑functional teams to gather necessary information.
• Maintain compliance with global and local financial controls.
• Perform monthly balance‑sheet reviews for assigned entities and address any deviations.
• Prepare tax and audit deliverables within established deadlines.
• Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and act as a backup resource when needed.
• Conduct financial statement analysis and produce operational result reports.

Required profile

• Relevant professional experience in finance, accounting, or related fields.
• Strong communication skills in both English and Spanish.
• Ability to work independently and meet strict deadlines.
• Proactive attitude with a focus on continuous improvement.
