Senior Accountant – Tax & Statutory Compliance

About the role

The Senior Accountant will ensure accurate and timely submission of corporate tax returns and statutory accounts, while supporting year‑end audits and regulatory compliance for DSV Philippines.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file corporate tax returns (Creditable Withholding, Final Withholding, VAT, Income Tax) and submit supporting schedules.
• Perform monthly tax and statutory reconciliations (tax returns vs schedules, SSS/PHIC/HDMF contributions).
• Manage annual registration of books, tax residence certificates, and updates with BIR and SEC.
• Lead year‑end statutory audit, financial statement preparation, and liaison with tax authorities, auditors and consultants.
• Maintain permits, licenses, Export Oriented Enterprise certification, and LGU permits.
• Support clean‑up of financial books, monitor contracts and board minutes, and act as point‑of‑contact for tax, legal and compliance matters.

Required profile

• Graduate of BS Accountancy; Certified Public Accountant (mandatory).
• Minimum 5 years experience in Philippine taxation, statutory compliance and reporting, preferably with Big 4 exposure.
• Experience in local finance, record‑to‑report, treasury, asset management and financial reporting.
• Familiarity with IFRS standards and statutory audit processes.
