Senior Accountant - renewables

About the role

We are seeking a Senior Accountant to join a leading renewable energy company that develops utility‑scale projects worldwide. The role involves managing the full spectrum of accounting activities, ensuring compliance with IFRS, handling tax obligations, and supporting audit and financing processes.

Key responsibilities

• Review original documents for compliance, record accounting entries promptly, and maintain organized accounting records.
• Prepare monthly financial statements in accordance with IFRS, ensuring delivery before the 2nd of each month.
• Accurately calculate corporate taxes, file returns on time, and flag any tax‑related risks.
• Coordinate external audits and third‑party due‑diligence activities.
• Liaise with banks and other external institutions to manage financing and related matters.
• Address additional finance‑related tasks as required.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher; degree from a prestigious university is a plus.
• CPA certification or ACCA qualification is advantageous.
• Strong accounting experience with the ability to work independently.
• Fluent English communication skills.
