Senior Accountant – Remote (US) – Independent Contractor

About the role

We are seeking a detail‑oriented Senior Accountant to join a fast‑growing advisory‑driven accounting firm. This full‑time independent contractor position is 100% remote, allowing you to work from the comfort of your home while supporting a diverse portfolio of small‑business clients.

Key responsibilities

• Manage key portions of the monthly accounting cycle, including reconciliations and month‑end close.
• Prepare and deliver financial reporting packages for assigned clients.
• Maintain and review client financial records to ensure data integrity.
• Collaborate with the Accounting Manager and Client Advisors to resolve complex accounting issues.
• Communicate proactively with clients and support workflow consistency across multiple platforms.

Required profile

• Proven experience in senior‑level accounting, preferably in a remote or advisory setting.
• Strong time‑management and prioritization skills to handle multiple client responsibilities.
• Ability to work independently with minimal day‑to‑day oversight.
• Commitment to exclusive full‑time engagement as an independent contractor.
