Senior Accountant (Remote, Philippines)

About the role

TOA Global is seeking a disciplined Senior Accountant to lead technical execution, compliance and data integrity for high‑net‑worth Australian family groups and complex trust structures. The role is fully remote, full‑time, and offers autonomy over client files and financial reporting.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare and file complex trust, company, partnership and individual tax returns, handling capital gains, foreign tax offsets, franking credits and AMIT fund attributions.
• Analyse prior‑year balance sheets to identify related‑party loan positions, calculate minimum repayments and maintain consistent transaction records in Xero.
• Reconcile investment portfolios with platforms such as Praemium or Sharesight, coding dividends, corporate actions and capital events.
• Oversee bookkeeping team workflow via FYI Docs, manage end‑of‑month accruals, depreciation and tax provision journals, and deliver polished management accounts.
• Apply superannuation and Division 293 knowledge to corporate and trust environments, and proactively manage the firm’s XPM and FYI pipelines.

Required profile

• Senior‑level accounting professional with strong technical focus and attention to detail.
• Experience working with Australian tax law, Division 7A and complex trust structures.
• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple client engagements.
