Senior Accountant

About the role

TOA Global is looking for a hands‑on Senior Accountant to lead international financial operations from our Philippines sites. The role works on a US‑aligned night shift and reports directly to senior leadership while mentoring a junior bookkeeper.

Key responsibilities

• Own the monthly, quarterly and annual close process and prepare US GAAP‑compliant financial statements.
• Manage full‑cycle AP, AR and general‑ledger activities, and maintain internal control frameworks.
• Oversee inventory and cost accounting, including COGS analysis and variance reporting.
• Coordinate federal, state and local US tax filings, estimated tax schedules and deferred tax calculations.
• Lead audit preparation, compile PBC workpapers and act as the primary liaison with external auditors.
• Supervise and train a junior bookkeeper, reviewing their work for accuracy.
• Identify workflow bottlenecks, optimise ERP usage and provide strategic financial insights to cross‑functional teams.

Required profile

• 5‑7 years of progressive corporate accounting experience with a clear path toward controllership.
• Proven experience applying US GAAP and handling multi‑state tax compliance.
• Demonstrated ability to manage full‑cycle accounting and lead audit engagements.
• Strong leadership and mentorship skills.
