Senior Accountant

About the role

Peerlogic, an AI‑driven SaaS platform for healthcare practices, is seeking a hands‑on Senior Accountant to own day‑to‑day financial operations. Reporting directly to the CEO, you will work closely with leadership to ensure accurate reporting, strong cash management, and efficient processes in a fast‑growing remote environment.

Key responsibilities

• Maintain the general ledger and lead the monthly close in QuickBooks Online.
• Prepare monthly financial statements (balance sheet, P&L, cash flow) and perform account reconciliations.
• Manage accounts payable through Bill.com, including vendor invoicing, payment runs, and statement reconciliation.
• Oversee accounts receivable in Zuora, track collections, and resolve billing issues with Customer Success.
• Process semi‑monthly payroll and commissions using Gusto.
• Maintain a rolling 13‑week cash‑flow forecast and weekly cash position reports.
• Produce monthly KPI reports, support budgeting/forecasting, and assist with board and investor reporting.
• Ensure GAAP‑compliant accounting, maintain internal controls, and coordinate audits and tax filings.
• Own the finance technology stack (QuickBooks Online, Bill.com, Zuora, Gusto) and recommend automation improvements.

Required profile

• 5+ years of accounting experience, preferably in SaaS or subscription‑based businesses.
• Bachelor’s degree in Accounting or Finance; CPA preferred but not required.
• Strong knowledge of GAAP and experience with remote, fast‑paced startup environments.
