Senior Accountant

About the role

eFlexervices is seeking an experienced Senior Accountant to join its Global Ledger team. You will play a pivotal role in month‑end close, financial reporting under US GAAP, and cross‑functional finance projects.

Key responsibilities

• Prepare month‑end journals, including payroll, banking, accruals and other transactions.
• Conduct monthly, quarterly and annual reporting, balance‑sheet reconciliations and provide financial analysis and commentary.
• Coordinate fixed‑asset depreciation schedules and assist with asset write‑offs.
• Support payroll accruals, reconcile discrepancies and ensure timely posting.
• Participate in financial audits and maintain compliance with regulations.
• Collaborate with AP, AR, FP&A and payroll teams to resolve variances.
• Reconcile bank statements and upload entries into the accounting system.
• Develop and maintain accounting policies, procedures and standard operating processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in accounting or finance (or equivalent).
• Strong understanding of US GAAP and general accounting principles.
• Excellent attention to detail with the ability to analyse large data sets.
• Self‑motivated, proactive and capable of working in a fast‑paced environment.
• Effective written and verbal communication skills.
