Senior Accountant – Global Cash, Currency & Hedging

About the role

The Senior Accountant 1 – Global Cash, Currency & Hedging is responsible for executing accounting, reporting, and reconciliation activities related to global cash management, foreign currency accounting, and hedging processes. The role works closely with Treasury, Corporate Finance, Business Unit Finance, Controllers and other finance teams to ensure accurate financial reporting and strong compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Perform accounting activities for cash, foreign currency and hedging transactions and prepare journal entries in line with US GAAP.
• Support month‑end, quarter‑end and year‑end close activities, ensuring timely and accurate completion.
• Prepare and review balance‑sheet reconciliations, monitor aged reconciling items and drive resolution of exceptions.
• Analyze financial results, investigate unusual balances or variances and support management reporting.
• Coordinate close activities with regional and global stakeholders and drive process improvements and standardisation.

Required profile

• Strong accounting knowledge with experience in cash management, foreign currency accounting and hedging.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively across multiple finance functions.
• Excellent analytical and problem‑solving skills with attention to detail.
