Senior Accountant, GL Accounting Operations

About the role

The Senior Accountant uses experienced professional accountant knowledge to resolve diverse accounting matters. They perform monthly accounting close activities focused on higher‑risk and complex countries.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct non‑standard deal reviews and ensure proper accounting treatment.
• Lead month‑end close processes, including journal entry preparation and posting.
• Perform flux analysis and prepare detailed reconciliations.
• Execute SOX controls and maintain compliance documentation.
• Prepare PBC packages, interact with auditors, and support audit processes.
• Prepare regional disclosures required for SEC reporting.
• Generate month‑end management reports for business stakeholders.
• Partner with data owners, internal and external auditors, and the Global Process Manager to resolve accounting issues.
• Identify and implement process‑improvement initiatives and project tasks as needed.
• Apply general accounting principles to complex transactions (technical accounting).

Required profile

• 3+ years of relevant accounting experience (preferred).
• Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or a related field (preferred).
