Security Operations Center and Incident Response Manager

About the role

The Security Operations Center (SOC) and Incident Response Manager will lead PwC’s security operations in Makati, overseeing the detection, analysis and remediation of cyber threats. Reporting to senior leadership, you will shape the organisation’s security strategy, integrate new technologies and ensure continuous improvement of the SOC and incident response capabilities.

Key responsibilities

• Lead and manage the SOC and incident response team, establishing processes and metrics for effective threat detection and remediation.
• Develop and execute transformation strategies that align security initiatives with business objectives.
• Integrate, configure and maintain security technologies, ensuring seamless operation across the environment.
• Collaborate with risk, compliance and audit functions to design and implement governance frameworks, business continuity plans and ethics controls.
• Analyse complex security incidents, provide actionable recommendations and communicate findings to senior stakeholders.
• Coach and mentor team members, fostering a culture of continuous learning and ethical conduct.
• Stay abreast of global security trends and translate insights into proactive security measures.

Required profile

• Proven managerial experience in a SOC or incident response environment.
• Strong analytical mindset with the ability to translate data into strategic decisions.
• Excellent communication and stakeholder‑management skills.
