Security Manager

About the role

The Security Manager will lead all security functions at Mövenpick Resort & Spa Boracay, ensuring the safety of guests, team members, and property. This full‑time, on‑site position works closely with operations, engineering, and IT to maintain a secure environment that supports exceptional guest experiences.

Key responsibilities

• Conduct regular security risk assessments and develop mitigation plans.
• Manage security staff schedules, performance, and training programs.
• Monitor access‑control and surveillance systems, ensuring proper operation.
• Develop, implement, and update security protocols and policies.
• Lead incident response, investigations, and reporting.
• Liaise with local authorities, law‑enforcement, and emergency services as needed.
• Coordinate safety drills and training for all resort personnel.
• Collaborate with IT to align physical, network, and information security practices.

Required profile

• Strong expertise in physical security and overall security management.
• Knowledge of information security, cybersecurity, and network security concepts.
• Experience in incident management, risk assessment, and policy development.
• Previous leadership experience in hospitality, corporate security, or related fields (preferred).
• Familiarity with local safety regulations and coordination with law‑enforcement.
• Relevant degree or professional certification in security management, criminal justice, or a related field (advantage).
