Security Analyst

About the role

The Security Analyst will monitor, detect and respond to security alerts and incidents, ensuring the organization’s IT environment remains protected against cyber threats. This role operates within a dynamic, on‑call environment and collaborates closely with multiple departments.

Key responsibilities

• Continuously monitor security alerts and incidents, analyze potential threats, and take appropriate mitigation actions.
• Lead response efforts for security incidents and breaches, including containment, eradication, and recovery.
• Deploy, configure, and maintain security tools and technologies such as SIEM platforms, firewalls, IDS/IPS, and EDR solutions.
• Support investigations by providing detailed reports and recommendations.
• Provide regular information security updates, reports, and reminders to stakeholders.
• Collaborate with other departments to ensure compliance with security policies and procedures.

Required profile

• Proven experience working in a Security Operations Centre (SOC) environment.
• Hands‑on experience with SIEM platforms such as Splunk, ArcSight or IBM QRadar.
• Strong knowledge of threat detection, incident response, network security protocols and common cyber‑attack vectors.
• Excellent communication skills and ability to document findings clearly.
