Search Engine Optimization Specialist

About the role

The SEO Specialist will lead our content strategy, optimizing website pages, blogs, and landing pages to boost online visibility and drive qualified traffic. You will work closely with developers and marketers to ensure SEO best practices are embedded across the site.

Key responsibilities

• Optimize on‑page elements for website pages, blogs, landing pages, and service pages.
• Create scalable SEO content plans that maintain unique, useful page structures.
• Write human‑first content that also aligns with AI search result requirements.
• Structure content with logical headings, internal linking, and information hierarchy.
• Identify and resolve keyword cannibalization, duplicate or outdated content, and weak pages.
• Develop and execute backlinking strategies to improve rankings.
• Collaborate with developers to implement technical fixes and SEO‑friendly architecture.
• Monitor and fix technical SEO issues such as crawlability, indexing, core web vitals, and site structure.
• Recommend page creation, updates, merges, redirects, or removals based on SEO and conversion goals.
• Track rankings, traffic, leads, and overall SEO impact using analytics tools.

Required profile

• Strong understanding of on‑page, technical, and off‑page SEO as well as content marketing.
• Excellent writing and editing skills for a U.S. audience.
• Effective verbal and written communication.
• Experience with staffing companies, talent marketplaces, e‑commerce, or platform‑style websites is a plus.
