Sea Logistics Team Lead – ISC

About the role

As a Sea Logistics Team Lead for the ISC service line, you will supervise a team that delivers freight forwarding operations with accuracy, efficiency and timeliness. You will ensure service level agreements, key performance indicators and quality standards are consistently met while driving continuous improvement.

Key responsibilities

• Act as the primary escalation point and resolve operational issues promptly.
• Serve as the main liaison between the local KNGS team and ISC Control Tower managers.
• Lead onboarding, training and ongoing development for new and existing team members.
• Conduct daily quality checks to maintain accuracy, productivity and compliance with work instructions.
• Provide coaching, performance feedback and corrective actions as needed.
• Monitor individual and team metrics, analyse performance gaps and report insights to management.
• Manage manpower utilization, workload distribution and schedule adherence.
• Oversee attendance documentation and ensure alignment with company policies.
• Identify and drive continuous‑improvement initiatives to enhance service delivery.

Required profile

• Preferred Bachelor’s degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management or a related field.
• 2‑5 years of direct leadership experience.
• At least 2 years of experience in sea logistics, air logistics or finance within a trading or logistics environment.
• Strong leadership, people‑management and organisational skills.
• Analytical, process‑driven mindset with the ability to multitask and prioritize.

Required skills

• Advanced Microsoft Excel.
• Intermediate proficiency with other Microsoft Office applications.
