School Nurse

About the role

The School Nurse provides timely and compliant healthcare services to students and staff, conducts emergency drills, maintains accurate medical records, and leads health‑awareness programs within the school community.

Key responsibilities

• Provide timely and compliant healthcare services, triage, referrals, and emergency response to students and staff.
• Conduct emergency drills, protocol reviews, and readiness checks to ensure preparedness.
• Maintain and audit medical records and EMR, ensuring compliance with DOH, institutional requirements, and the Data Privacy Act.
• Lead health awareness and wellness programs, including institutional health initiatives.
• Manage clinic supplies, health‑related communications, and required reports, ensuring timely completion.
• Coordinate health and clinic‑related concerns with Security, Facilities, HR/Admin, faculty, and staff.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s Degree in Nursing with a valid PRC Registered Nurse (RN) License.
• Minimum of 3 years of clinical experience; experience in a school or academic setting is an advantage.
• First Aid and BLS certification; ALS, Emergency Response, and Occupational Health training are advantages.
