About the role

The School Nurse is responsible for delivering comprehensive health services to students and staff, promoting a safe and healthy learning environment, and responding promptly to medical needs within the school community.

Key responsibilities

Provide first‑aid treatment and emergency care for students and staff.
Maintain accurate health records and manage medication administration.
Conduct routine health screenings, immunization programs, and health education sessions.
Collaborate with parents, teachers, and external health providers to coordinate care.
Develop and implement health policies, emergency response plans, and wellness initiatives.

Required profile

Bachelor of Science in Nursing.
Registered Nurse (RN) licensure.
Minimum two years of experience as a School Nurse in an academic setting.
Analytical thinker with strong problem‑solving and conflict‑resolution abilities.
Motivational leader who demonstrates sound judgment, attention to detail, and the ability to work under pressure.
Compassionate demeanor that puts patients at ease.
