Scheme Monitoring Staff Officer

About the role

The Scheme Monitoring Staff Officer will support RCBC by identifying, assessing and tracking risks related to Mastercard and other scheme bulletins. The role ensures that potential operational, financial and reputational risks are monitored and reported to management and stakeholders.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor compliance with Mastercard and other scheme bulletins and assess potential risks for RCBC.
• Collect and analyse data from various schemes to support risk analysis.
• Prepare regular risk reports and present findings in management meetings.
• Document risk incidents, mitigation actions and follow‑up activities while maintaining up‑to‑date records.
• Continuously track key risk indicators and evaluate the effectiveness of mitigation measures.
• Alert relevant teams to significant risk developments and support implementation of risk controls.
• Assist in developing and updating risk management policies and procedures.
• Collaborate with internal auditors, compliance teams and other departments.

Required profile

• Graduate in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, Information Technology, Finance, Economics, Risk Management, Business Administration or related fields.
• Relevant certifications such as Certified Risk Manager (CRM), Financial Risk Manager (FRM) or Certified Risk Professional (CRP) are highly desirable.
• Prior experience in risk management, compliance, audit or related roles.
• Familiarity with risk management frameworks and regulations (e.g., COSO, Basel, ISO 31000).
