SAP BW/BI Developer – Enterprise Analytics

About the role

The SAP BW/BI Developer will lead the design, development, enhancement, and support of enterprise analytics solutions. You will deliver scalable reporting, data‑warehousing, and analytics capabilities across SAP and non‑SAP platforms, helping the organization transition to SAP Business Data Cloud.

Key responsibilities

• Design and develop semantic, analytical models and data views in SAP Datasphere Data Builder.
• Configure and manage data pipelines for ingesting, transforming and harmonising data from multiple sources.
• Integrate SAP Datasphere with SAP Analytics Cloud dashboards and the Excel Add‑in to enable self‑service BI.
• Develop and optimise SAP Datasphere queries and data models for SAC reporting.
• Collaborate with business stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
• Provide ongoing support, administration and maintenance of SAP BW and SAP Business Data Cloud platforms.
• Monitor BW/BI operational processes, manage jobs, investigate incidents and resolve issues.
• Implement minor enhancements or bug fixes to existing BI/BW solutions.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Software Engineering, Information Systems or a related field.
• Strong SQL development and programming skills.
• Solid understanding of data‑warehousing principles, data modelling and ETL/ELT methodologies.
• Proven ability to translate business requirements and KPIs into scalable data models.
• Minimum 3 years of experience in data engineering, business intelligence or analytics.
• Hands‑on experience or formal training in SAP Datasphere and SAP Business Data Cloud.
