SAP Basis Consultant

About the role

McCoy Philippines is looking for an experienced SAP Basis Consultant to manage and optimise our SAP landscape. You will work closely with functional teams to ensure seamless system performance and support project implementations.

Key responsibilities

• Monitor and maintain SAP systems (ECC, S/4HANA, Cloud ERP) to guarantee availability and optimal performance.
• Perform installations, upgrades, and migrations across SAP environments.
• Implement and manage transport management, user administration, and security protocols.
• Troubleshoot complex technical issues and provide timely resolutions.
• Collaborate with functional consultants during project roll‑outs and upgrades.
• Optimise system performance through tuning, EWA, and database monitoring.
• Document system configurations, processes, and procedures.
• Mentor junior team members and stay current with SAP best practices.

Required profile

• Minimum 7 years of experience in SAP Basis and architecture.
• Strong knowledge of databases (HANA, Oracle, SQL Server) and operating systems (Linux, Windows).
• Experience with SAP Solution Manager and monitoring tools such as SAP Cloud ALM.
• Hands‑on experience with a hyperscaler (AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud).
• Familiarity with SSO, Web Dispatcher, Cloud Connector, BTP account setup, and CIS.
• Understanding of SAP High Availability concepts.
• Excellent troubleshooting ability and communication skills.
• SAP certifications are a plus.
