Sales Officer – Trust Retail Sales

About the role

The Sales Officer – Trust Retail Sales is responsible for expanding the bank's trust business by acquiring new trust accounts and driving cross‑selling of trust products across branches and partner channels. The role combines client acquisition, compliance oversight, and product development to grow trust‑related revenue.

Key responsibilities

• Generate additional trust income by soliciting and opening new trust accounts and promoting cross‑selling of trust products.
• Stay updated on Bank and BSP policies, especially anti‑money‑laundering and terrorist financing regulations, and ensure compliance.
• Conduct Know‑Your‑Client (KYC) procedures and appropriate Customer Due Diligence (CDD/EDD) based on client risk profiles for new accounts.
• Prepare short‑ and long‑term marketing plans that guide the team’s selling and promotional activities.
• Conceptualize, develop, and launch new trust products and services in coordination with the Product Development Officer, and monitor product performance to sustain volume growth.

Required profile

• Minimum three (3) years of experience in a financial institution, preferably in a Marketing Officer capacity.
• Working knowledge of trust products, services, and the regulatory framework governing trust business.
• Familiarity with portfolio management and financial markets.
