Sales Manager - Utilities Sector

About the role

Lead business growth and strategic customer relationships for Aggreko in the Philippine energy and utilities sector, focusing on utility companies, power generation developers, renewable energy players, and government agencies.

Key responsibilities

• Analyze utility market opportunities, develop value propositions and assess competitive positioning.
• Forecast long‑term power and renewable energy market trends, including WESM and Ancillary Services opportunities.
• Build and maintain relationships across utility organisations from operational teams to executive leaders.
• Develop strategic territory growth plans and manage sales opportunities through regulatory, compliance and procurement processes.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering or related technical discipline.
• 10‑12 years of sales, business development or account management experience in the energy and utilities sector.
• Strong network and established relationships across the utility ecosystem, including technical, operational, executive, government and regulatory stakeholders.
• Proven track record of managing complex, multi‑stakeholder sales cycles and influencing decision makers.

Required skills

• Knowledge of the Philippine energy market, utility operations and regulatory frameworks.
• Understanding of Wholesale Electricity Spot Market (WESM) and Ancillary Services Market.
• Experience with renewable energy and grid integration requirements.
