Sales Manager

About the role

BGI is seeking a dynamic Sales Manager to drive regional sales growth for its genomics solutions. You will lead the development and execution of sales strategies, build strong customer relationships, and act as a key ambassador for BGI's cutting‑edge technologies.

Key responsibilities

• Design and implement effective sales plans to achieve regional targets and allocate budget resources.
• Identify and acquire new customers while collaborating with account managers, technical support, and project managers to deliver seamless pre‑sales and after‑sales service.
• Conduct regular market and competitor analyses, report findings to the regional manager, and provide recommendations to senior leadership.
• Explore business opportunities in research, clinical and pharmaceutical sectors, nurture relationships with key opinion leaders, and expand BGI’s influence in genomics.
• Represent BGI at national and regional conferences, trade shows, and internal meetings.

Required profile

• Bachelor’s degree or higher in biology or a related scientific field.
• Proven experience in customer management within the biotechnology, life‑science or related sectors.
• Strong understanding of genomics technologies and related products.
