Sales Foundations Trainer

About the role

Orkestra Communications is looking for an experienced Sales Foundations Trainer to develop high‑performing sales professionals. You will lead onboarding, foundational sales training, coaching, and continuous development for Business Development Representatives, Quota‑Bearing Individuals, Mobility Solutions Engineers, and Account Executives in the US telecommunications market.

Key responsibilities

• Design and deliver engaging onboarding and sales foundations programs for new hires.
• Teach outbound B2B sales fundamentals, prospecting, cold calling, objection handling, and consultative selling techniques.
• Conduct structured coaching sessions during training and nesting phases to boost individual performance.
• Create and maintain training materials, presentations, assessments, and learning resources.
• Partner with Sales Managers, Sales Architects, and Subject Matter Experts to keep training aligned with product updates and business goals.
• Monitor trainee progress, document performance, and recommend development plans.
• Develop and facilitate ongoing learning initiatives, including refresher courses, leadership development, and performance improvement programs.
• Identify opportunities to improve talk tracks, sales techniques, and onboarding processes through observation and feedback.
• Participate in prospecting and customer conversations to stay current on market trends and competitor activity.
• Collaborate with Talent Acquisition to align hiring plans with training capacity.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales training, onboarding, or coaching within a B2B environment.
• Strong understanding of telecommunications sales processes.
• Ability to work closely with sales leadership and subject matter experts.
• Excellent communication and presentation skills.
• Commitment to continuous learning and staying up‑to‑date with industry trends.
