Sales Development Representative – APAC (Hybrid)

About the role

Octave is looking for a motivated Sales Development Representative to join its APAC team, operating from either Kuala Lumpur or Makati City. Reporting to the Regional Account Development Manager, you will be responsible for generating and qualifying new business opportunities for Octave’s asset‑lifecycle software solutions.

Key responsibilities

• Drive inbound and outbound lead‑generation activities to expand the sales pipeline and acquire new customers.
• Collaborate with teammates to build targeted prospect lists, refine outreach strategies, and craft messaging that converts interest into qualified opportunities.
• Execute multi‑touch outreach using email cadences in Salesloft, cold‑calling, social selling, and account‑based initiatives.
• Lead initial discovery conversations using the SPICED methodology to assess customer needs and suitability.
• Book qualified meetings for Field Sales and ensure a smooth handoff with thorough preparation.
• Maintain accurate records in Salesforce and consistently meet outreach and pipeline generation targets.

Required profile

• Minimum 2 years of experience in Inside Sales, Sales Development, or Account Development.
• Strong communication skills, collaborative mindset, and ability to build positive customer relationships.
• Excellent time‑management, adaptability, and resilience in a fast‑paced environment.

Required skills

• Proficiency with Salesloft for email cadences.
• Experience using ZoomInfo and LinkedIn Sales Navigator for prospecting.
• Daily use of Salesforce CRM for activity tracking and lead management.
