Sales and Business Development Executive

About the role

The Sales and Business Development Executive will drive new account acquisition and convert leads into revenue for Citadel. Working closely with operations and finance, the role ensures compliance with processing rules while protecting both customers and the company financially.

Key responsibilities

• Develop new accounts and turn sales leads into actual sales.
• Collaborate with Citadel operations and finance to ensure compliance and financial protection.
• Build and maintain a strong network of local and international partners, including shipping lines and NVOCCs.
• Plan, execute, and manage sales bookings in line with company policy and management support.
• Maintain and grow existing client relationships through regular visits, calls, and communication.
• Promote and sell logistics solutions such as Ocean Freight, Forwarding, Hub and Clearance.
• Recommend appropriate transport offers and propose alternatives when needed.
• Follow standard operating procedures for offers and obtain management approval before client submission.

Required profile

• Proven experience in sales and business development, preferably within logistics or freight forwarding.
• Strong ability to build and nurture client relationships.
• Excellent communication skills for internal and external coordination.
