Roof Measurement Specialist

About the role

The Roof Measurement Specialist accurately captures and documents roof dimensions and features using specialized software. Working remotely, you will translate imagery into precise measurements, generate detailed reports, and ensure high‑quality deliverables for clients.

Key responsibilities

• Enter address and customer details into the Roofer platform to start measurements.
• Select and manage roof imagery, draw outlines with 90‑degree snapping, and label elements such as eaves, valleys, hips, ridges, and rakes.
• Assign correct pitches to each roof facet, accounting for slopes and architectural features like dormers.
• Utilize layering, undo/redo, and other editing tools to refine data and save ongoing projects.
• Generate final roof reports in the required format and deliver them to clients or stakeholders.
• Maintain 100% quality and turnaround time, reviewing client notes and supporting team feedback.

Required profile

• Hands‑on experience in roof measurement or a strong willingness to learn quickly.
• High attention to detail and precision with a keen eye for technical accuracy.
• Strong understanding of roofing terminology and structural elements.
• Excellent organizational skills to manage multiple projects and meet deadlines.
• Problem‑solving ability to address software issues or measurement challenges.
