Retail Accounting Analyst

About the role

Chevron Philippines is seeking a Retail Accounting Analyst to join its finance team in Makati City. The role focuses on cash and bank reconciliation, exception handling, and month‑end closing for company‑owned and commission‑agent stations.

Key responsibilities

• Perform daily cash reconciliation and handle exceptions for COCO or CA stations.
• Report and follow up on all cash‑reconciliation exceptions.
• Prepare and submit daily and periodic reports.
• Conduct monthly bank reconciliation for station bank accounts.
• Execute monthly account reconciliation on assigned MOP accounts.
• Review, analyze, and investigate reconciling items in collaboration with station accountants.
• Trace and escalate reconciling items according to FSS standards.
• Generate shift‑summary entries in the Retail System general ledger.
• Validate Retail System to SAP interfaces for wetstock sales transactions and resolve upload errors.
• Monitor and handle the group mailbox for related queries.
• Perform other daily activities as required.
• Support month‑end closing by validating Retail System to SAP interfaces for revenue and COGS, ensuring all station transactions are recorded, and preparing journal entries for adjustments.
