About the role
We are looking for a reliable Restaurant Cook to join our team at Cafe Central. The role focuses on preparing and serving food during the morning shift, ensuring a clean and welcoming environment for guests.
Key responsibilities
- Prepare menu items according to recipes and quality standards.
- Serve customers and operate the cash register when needed.
- Maintain cleanliness of the kitchen, serving stations, and dining area.
- Assist with setup and service for parties and special events.
- Perform routine cleaning and organization of preparation areas.
Required profile
- Ability to read, write and perform basic mathematical calculations (percentages and fractions).
- Interpersonal skills for customer interaction.
- Valid County Food Handler’s Permit.

What we offer
- Morning shift (7 am‑11 am), 4 hours per day, 225 days per year.
- Hourly wage of $19.02 with a minimum 5 % increase upon promotion.
