Responsable de Almacén ( H/M)

About the role

We are looking for a Warehouse Manager to ensure storage, inventory control and material flow in our distribution centre, guaranteeing stock accuracy and material availability for production under JIT/JIS standards.

Key responsibilities

• Define and optimise the warehouse layout to improve material flow.
• Ensure proper storage, conservation and FIFO handling of goods.
• Manage supply of materials to production lines, optimising resources.
• Plan and execute rotating and annual inventories, conduct physical counts, analyse discrepancies and resolve them.
• Maintain complete traceability of merchandise in the PLUS management system.
• Oversee receipt and dispatch operations, handling incidents with carriers, suppliers or procurement.
• Lead and develop the warehouse team, schedule shifts, ensure health‑and‑safety compliance and evaluate performance.
• Identify and mitigate stock‑space risks and damaged‑material situations.
• Participate in customer audits related to warehouse and inventory.
• Ensure compliance with integrated management, health‑and‑safety and regulatory standards.
• Organise transport for EU and non‑EU shipments, including empty‑container returns.

Required profile

• Proven ability to achieve profitability, efficiency and quality targets through effective planning and resource management.
• Strong team‑leadership and communication skills, with negotiation experience.
• Result‑oriented, proactive and committed to continuous improvement and quality.

Required skills

• Data analysis and KPI monitoring.
• Intermediate to advanced proficiency with Microsoft Office (Excel, Word, PowerPoint).
• Certified forklift operation.
• Experience with inventory management systems, specifically PLUS.
