About the role
The Sales Representative will support daily floor operations in an AutoZone store, ensuring merchandise is properly arranged, customers receive excellent service, and sales targets are met.
Key responsibilities
- Arrange merchandise on the sales floor, including excess stock and truck deliveries, following store guidelines.
- Execute accurate planograms and scan items for inventory counts.
- Perform proper fronting, labeling, and classification of products, and assist with opening, closing, and cleaning tasks.
- Assist customers by answering questions about product location, features, functions, and pricing, both in‑store and via phone.
- Handle cash‑register transactions, process payments (cash and cards), and manage returns in accordance with store policies.
Required profile
- High school diploma completed.
- Previous experience as a stock associate, cashier, or general helper.
- Preferable experience in customer service.
Required skills
- Basic cash handling and POS operation.
- Inventory scanning and merchandise labeling.
- Effective communication with customers in person and over the phone.
