About the role

AMS Solutions is seeking a Remote Medical Coder to support its revenue cycle management services for healthcare practices. The role involves accurate coding of patient records to ensure compliance and optimal reimbursement.

Key responsibilities

Analyze and interpret patient medical records.
Assign appropriate diagnosis codes (ICD-10) and procedure codes (CPT/HCPCS).
Ensure coding accuracy and compliance with CMS, HIPAA, and other regulatory standards.

Required profile

Comprehensive knowledge of revenue cycle management in the healthcare industry.
Strong understanding of medical billing processes.
Proficiency with ICD-10 and CPT coding systems.
Proactive attitude with ability to own projects.
Organized problem‑solving skills for complex variables.
Experience using Microsoft Office applications.
Excellent verbal and written communication abilities.
