About the role
ClearDesk is looking for a Remote Home Care Scheduler to keep caregiver schedules running smoothly for a U.S.-based home‑care client. You will act as the behind‑the‑scenes coordinator who ensures seniors receive consistent, compassionate care.
Key responsibilities
- Build and maintain up‑to‑date caregiver schedules across multiple counties.
- Respond quickly to shift cancellations or no‑shows and arrange replacements.
- Answer calls from clients and caregivers using the company VoIP system.
- Update records and case notes in the WellSky platform (training provided).
- Collaborate with the operations team to flag staffing issues and ensure smooth coverage.
- Conduct regular check‑ins with caregivers and generate weekly staffing reports for leadership.
Required profile
- Previous experience in scheduling, preferably in healthcare or home‑care settings.
- Calm under pressure with strong organizational abilities.
- Excellent communication skills for interacting with caregivers and clients.
Required skills
- Proficiency with VoIP phone systems.
- Experience using the WellSky scheduling/record‑keeping platform.
