Remote Call Center Agent (Cebu, Philippines)

About the role

We are seeking a motivated Call Center Agent to join our remote team based in Cebu, Philippines. The role focuses on outbound calls to engage respondents, gather information, and promote participation in research studies. You will work from home while representing a dynamic software company known for its fun work environment.

Key responsibilities

• Arrive to work on time and follow the scheduled shifts.
• Speak clearly and enthusiastically, using tone variation and voice inflection.
• Build rapport quickly over the phone and explain difficult concepts in simple terms.
• Persuade respondents to participate in phone calls and consent to monitoring.
• Maintain focus on goals, accept coaching, and work with the Quality Control manager to improve call statistics and customer satisfaction.

Required profile

• High School diploma or GED equivalent.
• At least 6 months of prior call‑center experience.
• Computer and typing skills (data entry).
• Strong reading comprehension and fluency in English.
• Experience with graveyard/overnight shifts.
• Prior remote work experience (preferred).
• Experience in outbound research calling or similar (preferred).
• Ability to use a phone or headset for extended periods.
• Ability to use a computer keyboard and mouse; work is primarily indoor desk‑based.
