Remote Accountant – QuickBooks, Retail & E‑commerce

About the role

We are looking for a remote Accountant to support a fast‑growing multi‑location retail and e‑commerce business. Working closely with the Senior Accountant, you will handle the full accounting cycle, from daily transaction processing to month‑end close and sales‑tax compliance.

Key responsibilities

• Code and enter vendor invoices, process payments and maintain vendor records.
• Reconcile the accounts‑payable sub‑ledger to the general ledger.
• Post daily sales from store and online channels and reconcile POS totals.
• Maintain deferred revenue schedules and address revenue‑recognition issues.
• Perform regular bank and credit‑card reconciliations and investigate discrepancies.
• Prepare monthly sales and use‑tax returns and ensure timely filing.

Required profile

• Detail‑oriented and able to work independently without constant supervision.
• Strong numerical aptitude and a commitment to accurate, timely accounting.
• Based in the Philippines and comfortable with a fully remote work environment.
