About the role
We are looking for a full‑time remote Accountant to join a fractional CFO and accounting service that supports high‑growth US businesses. The role involves month‑end close, financial reporting, and tax form preparation for a portfolio of clients.
Key responsibilities
- Manage journal entries, account reconciliations and ledger updates in QuickBooks, Xero, NetSuite and Sage.
- Close books promptly each month and prepare clear monthly financial reports.
- Handle accounts payable, ensuring timely processing and client communication.
- Track and submit 1099 tax forms on behalf of clients.
- Provide tax support during filing season and ensure compliance with applicable tax laws.
- Analyze financial transactions, identify trends and resolve accounting issues.
Required profile
- 2‑5 years of experience as an Accountant, Bookkeeper or Financial Analyst.
- Professional English communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Relevant accounting license (CPA, CMA or CA) is a plus.
Required skills
- Proficiency with QuickBooks.
- Proficiency with Xero.
- Proficiency with NetSuite.
- Proficiency with Sage.
