Remedial Officer

About the role
The Remedial Officer is responsible for handling, monitoring, and negotiating loan restructurings for defaulting clients, reporting directly to the Asset Recovery Division Head.
Key responsibilities
- Negotiate directly with defaulting clients to arrange payment schedules and loan restructuring agreements.
- Coordinate with Marketing and Operations divisions to monitor account status and ensure compliance with restructuring terms.
- Manage documentation by verifying that clients submit required paperwork and maintain accurate account records.
- Supervise the Remedial Assistant and perform ad‑hoc tasks as assigned by the Asset Recovery Division Head.
Required profile
- Business or law‑related college degree.
- 2–3 years of experience in a remedial or loan‑restructuring role.
- Strong strategic thinking and initiative.
- Proven negotiation abilities.
