Relationship Manager - Corporate Banking

About the role

The Relationship Manager will be responsible for acquiring new corporate clients and expanding an existing portfolio of corporate accounts. The role combines account strategy, business development, and product planning to meet profitability targets while delivering high levels of client satisfaction.

Key responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive account strategies to maximise returns.
• Identify and solicit credit‑worthy corporate accounts in target markets.
• Design customised product plans in coordination with bank partners.
• Build and maintain relationships with senior decision‑makers (CEOs, COOs, CFOs) and promote cross‑selling of the bank’s services.
• Deliver mandated profitability metrics, cross‑sell ratios and grow market share for assets and liabilities.
• Prepare and evaluate credit proposals, line renewals and monitor portfolio quality.
• Ensure compliance with documentation, covenants and regulatory policies.
• Assist with collections, loan restructuring and support account specialists through mentorship.

Required profile

• Bachelor's degree in a business‑related field.
• Minimum two years of experience in corporate banking.
• Working knowledge of credit analysis, banking products, regulations and related legal documentation.
• Preferably fluent in Chinese.
