Regional Legal Counsel

About the role

The Regional Legal Counsel will report to the Head of Legal and provide day‑to‑day legal support to companies and business units across 13 Asia‑Pacific markets. The role requires a practical, business‑oriented approach to risk management and problem solving in a fast‑paced environment.

Key responsibilities

• Provide daily legal advice on contractual and other matters to business units.
• Draft, negotiate and review a wide range of agreements, including tenancy, retailer, distribution, sub‑distribution, service and e‑commerce contracts.
• Manage contract review cycles, renewals, terminations and enforcement of contractual terms.
• Collaborate with Legal, Corporate Development, Finance and other internal teams to facilitate cross‑team decision‑making.
• Liaise with senior management and relevant colleagues as needed.

Required profile

• Qualified solicitor with 7‑8 years post‑qualification experience, preferably from a reputable law firm.
• Strong expertise in commercial contract drafting, review and process management.
• Solid knowledge of corporate law; experience in commercial litigation and employment law is a plus.
• Willingness to travel to and work from Singapore on an ad‑hoc basis.
• Excellent communication skills in English and Mandarin.
• Ability to manage multiple, changing priorities with discretion and sound judgment.
